Who is responsible for your information
Future Applications LTD (“FApps”, “we”, “us”) is the controller of personal information collected through this website and our business correspondence. You can contact us at privacy@fapps.io.
Information we collect
Information you provide
When you send an enquiry or email us, we may collect:
- your name and email address;
- your company name, if you choose to provide it;
- the service category you select;
- the contents of your message and subsequent correspondence; and
- any other information you choose to provide.
Technical information
Our hosting provider may process limited technical data needed to deliver and protect the website, such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, date and time, and security or diagnostic logs. We do not intentionally use this information to build advertising profiles.
Why we use your information
- To respond to enquiries and discuss potential work. We do this to take steps at your request before entering a contract and for our legitimate interest in operating our business.
- To provide agreed services and manage client relationships. We do this where necessary to perform a contract.
- To secure, maintain, and improve the website. We rely on our legitimate interest in providing a reliable and secure service.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect legal rights. This may include record-keeping, fraud prevention, or responding to lawful requests.
We do not add enquiry details to a marketing list unless we ask separately and you make an active choice to subscribe.
Who processes your information
We use a small number of service providers to operate this website and email:
- Netlify, for website hosting, security, and enquiry form processing;
- Google Gmail, for receiving and managing business correspondence;
- ImprovMX, for forwarding email sent to addresses at fapps.io; and
- Brevo, for authenticated outgoing email.
These providers process information under their own contractual and security terms. We may also share information with professional advisers or authorities where reasonably necessary, required by law, or needed to establish or defend legal claims. We do not sell personal information.
International transfers
Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we rely on an adequacy regulation or appropriate safeguards such as approved contractual clauses, together with any additional measures required by data-protection law.
How long we keep information
We normally retain unsuccessful or general enquiries for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, unless a shorter period is requested or a longer period is reasonably needed for legal purposes. Client and financial records may be retained for longer where required by law or contract. Provider security logs are retained according to the provider’s configured retention periods.
How we protect information
We use access controls, multi-factor authentication where available, encrypted connections, limited collection, provider due diligence, and appropriate account and deployment controls. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we review our controls in proportion to the information and risks involved.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you the right to:
- ask for a copy of your personal information;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- ask us to erase or restrict use of your information;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- receive certain information in a portable format; and
- withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
To exercise a right, email privacy@fapps.io. We may need to confirm your identity before completing a request.
